I love to draw. My current work explores memory, vulnerability and
relationship using the horse as a visual metaphor. I try to maintain a
gestural quality in the paintings focusing on movement.

Maria Partridge is a painter and art professor at Truckee Meadows Community
College, Reno, NV. She received her Masters degree from California State
University, Sacramento in 2004.
